Louis Saha second-half introduction proved to be the decisive point for United second 1-0 win at Old Trafford following last weekend match against Tottenham.

Saha came in to replace new signing Anderson and immediately spark United attack in to life. Saha first appearance since the Champions League semi-final defeat to AC Milan in May, he found the elusive winner 19 minutes from time, heading from Nani corner giving United a 1-0 victory just as they looked set to lose even more ground to their major championship rivals.

Man Utd vs Sunderland - Roy Keane Homecoming

Roy Keane will make his first homecoming in the opposite dugout of Old Trafford with Sunderland. Keane will become the fourth player to play under Ferguson and become a manger of the opposite site themselves since Steve Bruce, Bryan Robson and Mark Hughes.

As Ferguson looks forward to welcoming back the former club captain marvel, he has mixed emotions the veteran boss is still coming to terms with Solksjaer early’s retirement last week. Both players have carved their name in United’s folklore and earned Ferguson’s respect in the process. (more…)

Easing Injury Lists

Louis Saha is expected to be involve in today match against Roy Keane’s Sunderland at 17.15 UK times. Saha was pencilled to play some part in last weekend Tottenham match only to left out in final 16 man squad by Ferguson. After another week of intensive training, Saha should featured against Sunderland this weekend.
