Gary Neville Injured Since March 06

MANCHESTER UNITED captain Gary Neville could return for the Premier League champions against Chelsea on Sept 23 after ankle and thigh injuries have sidelined him since March. “Hopefully in the next week or two I’ll be back and I hope to be playing games in the next couple of weeks definitely,” Neville told Manchester United’s TV channel. “I think (this weekend’s) Everton game is going to be too soon, I think it will probably be after that.

Meanwhile, Gary Neville has warned his team-mates they cannot afford any more slip-ups in the title race. “I didn’t expect us to go away to teams and lose, I expect us to be consistent like we were like year. Losing one to three games is acceptable but losing more than three would be very hard to pull back the lose points.
