Antonio Valencia has landed a bumper new double-your-money deal at Manchester United. The winger is expected to sign a four year contract worth £80k a week.
Valencia, an Ecuador international midfielder, age 25, is a key part of Sir Alex squad and has battled back to fitness from a broken ankle he suffered in a Champions League clash against Rangers last September.
United’s CEO David Gill said the process of finalizing the deal is on going and it will be a long-term deal.
Sir Alex Ferguson signed Valencia from Wigan in June 2009 costing United £16million. He has made 69 appearances for the Red Devils and scored 10 goals.
