Heinze Heading to Madrid - Confirmed

UPDATE: Gabriel Heinze Move Completed.
Real Madrid have completed the signings of Gabriel Heinze together with Chelsea winger Arjen Robben.
Heinze, 29, has signed a four-year deal with Real Madrid, no transfer fees has been confirmed at the moment while report from Madrid suggest Heinze could cost Real around £8million. The move draws the curtain on three years at Old Trafford for the all-action left-back, who United signed for £6.9million from Paris Saint Germain in June 2004.
Heinze made 83 appearances for the Reds scoring four goals, including a fabulous first season that saw him collect the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award. However, injuries hampered his second season with the Reds and last season he was under pressure for the left-back slot from Patrice Evra, now Sir Alex Ferguson’s first choice.
We wish Gabriel Heinze good luck in his future with Real Madrid.
Gabriel Heinze was reported will complete his transfer to Real Madrid and will be presented to the media at 4pm on Thursday. The Spanish champions have not revealed whether the duo have passed their medicals or signed contracts yet but appear confident of the transfers being completed by 5pm local time.
United accepted Madrid’s offer almost immediately and Heinze quickly decided he would take it up, having already travelled to Spain for talks with the current Spanish Champions earlier in the summer.
After his move to Liverpool failed to come off, left sided Argentinian defender Heinze will become the third player in four season to leave for Real Madrid, following on from David Beckham and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
