Arsenal drew with Portsmouth at Fratton Park has enabled United to lead the Barclays Premier League table with 1 point advantage over the Gunners having play the same amount of matches now.

The Gunners were held by Pompey to a goalless draw, now find themselves playing catch-up having lead the table for early of the season.

Elsewhere, Chelsea were held by a thrilling 8 goals fiesta by Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge which translate United closest rivals for the title had been dropping 2 crucial points for this match-day with Liverpool apart who had Steven Gerard to thank for their 2-1 win over Derby.

At the foot of the table, it would become clearer come this Saturday who will be most likely heading back to League Championship for the relegation battles. No disrespect to Derby, they are most certainly heading back to League Championship after only acquiring 7 points from 19 games played.

The balance 2 spots could be a battles between Sunderland, Fulham, Wigan, Middlesbrough, Bolton and Birmingham. Although Tottenham is just 3 points ahead of Birmingham, I can’t see they fail to turn around under Juande Ramos.

Hopefully, Roy Keane is able to turn his team’s misfortune come new year and stay in the Barclays Premier League. Roy Keane is a person belong to the very top of the game.
